Google's Gemini enables AI-generated podcast conversations

Google has introduced a new feature that allows users to create AI-generated podcast-like conversations using its Gemini app. This feature is called Audio Overviews and is based on in-depth research reports created by Gemini. With this new option, users can turn detailed reports into engaging conversations between two AI hosts. The Audio Overviews feature was previously available in Google’s AI note-taking app, NotebookLM, but has now been expanded to Gemini for free and Advanced subscribers. This tool is particularly useful with Gemini’s Deep Research feature. Users can ask Gemini to search the web and generate a comprehensive report on a specific topic. Once the report is ready, you can select the “Generate Audio Overview” option to listen to the conversation based on the research findings.
