Gorakhpur hosts International Festival of Films on Spirituality

A three-day International Festival of Films on Religion and Spirituality has started in Gorakhpur. The festival aims to highlight films that focus on the connection between humanity and the divine. Many filmmakers, scholars, and movie lovers are attending the event. They will celebrate stories that are meant to inspire and enlighten viewers. Notable guests include actor and MP Ravi Kishan and filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar, who will attend some screenings. The festival opened with the film “Shades of Uttar Pradesh,” followed by “Varanasi: The City of Nirvana.” Tourism minister Jaiveer Singh addressed the festival, saying that films are a great way to explore deep spiritual themes. He believes this event will help showcase the spiritual heritage of Uttar Pradesh.
