Gotianuns develop night golf course in Clark region

The Gotianun family is making significant investments in the Clark growth corridor. They have put money into real estate and airport infrastructure. Their goal is to create 170,000 jobs through projects like Filinvest Mimosa Plus Leisure City and Filinvest New Clark City. For golf lovers, the Mimosa Plus Golf Course offers two 18-hole courses. The course uses Zoysia grass, which is eco-friendly because it needs less water. A new golf driving range will open this year with 48 bays. The Gotianun family has also added 58 floodlights to one of the golf courses. This will allow night golfing, which is especially attractive to players who want to avoid the sun. Filinvest is celebrating its 70th anniversary this year. The celebration will kick off with the launch of Night Golf at Mimosa this week. Additionally, the group is building a new 300-room Crimson Hotel in Clark. This hotel is part of their effort to attract more business and leisure travelers to the area. In other business news, succession plans are becoming common among listed companies. Notably, Willy Ocier of AbaCore Capital has handed leadership to his daughter, Mischel. She is now taking on larger responsibilities at the company. Mischel has experience in business development and sustainability from her previous work. She holds degrees from Ateneo de Manila University and has completed courses in China and Japan.
