Graydon Carter critiques Meghan Markle's grasp on reality
Graydon Carter, former editor of Vanity Fair, recently commented on Meghan Markle's awareness of her media presence. He described her as "slightly adrift on the facts and reality". Carter recalled Meghan's cover story in 2017, where she was surprised that questions focused on her relationship with Prince Harry instead of her philanthropy efforts. Carter admitted he wasn’t familiar with Meghan at the time but was told she was newsworthy because she was set to marry Prince Harry. He found her questioning the direction of the interview quite humorous. Recently, Meghan has received criticism for her Netflix lifestyle series, "With Love, Meghan". Despite this, she has already filmed a second season and is launching her new brand called As Ever. The brand will offer products like raspberry jam, herbal tea, and crepe mix. Netflix co-chief executive Ted Sarandos defended Meghan, saying she and Harry are often "overly dismissed". He praised her cultural influence and noted that their most popular project so far has been their documentary about their experiences in the royal family. In a personal touch, Meghan shared a new Instagram post featuring serene nature footage and a sweet message about her family. It included joyful shouts from her children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
