Greek police arrest two men linked to drug ring exporting MDMA and meth to Australia
Greek police have arrested two men linked to a crime ring exporting crystal meth and MDMA to Australia. This follows a significant drug bust where authorities seized about 56 kilograms of MDMA and nearly 30 kilograms of methamphetamine. The drugs were concealed in boxes among olive oil containers in an Athens warehouse. The arrests occurred after police monitored the suspects transferring the boxes to another location. This operation highlights a growing trend, as Europe is becoming a major supplier of MDMA, with production reportedly increasing. In February, Australian authorities also seized 120 kilograms of MDMA from a cargo ship arriving from Europe.
