Greg Kinnear joins Apple TV+ series ‘Margo’s Got Money Troubles’

Greg Kinnear has joined the cast of a new Apple TV+ drama series called "Margo’s Got Money Troubles." He will act alongside Elle Fanning and Michelle Pfeiffer. The series is created by David E. Kelley and based on a novel by Rufi Thorpe. In the show, Fanning plays Margo Millet, a young woman facing tough challenges. Margo is the daughter of a Hooters waitress, Shyanne, played by Pfeiffer, and an ex-wrestler named Jinx. After a short relationship with an English professor, Margo becomes pregnant and struggles to care for her baby alone at 20 years old. When Jinx reappears in her life and asks to move in, Margo agrees but wants help with childcare. To support herself, she starts an OnlyFans account and considers advice from her father about wrestling. Kinnear will portray Kenny, Shyanne's religious boyfriend. Other cast members include Thaddea Graham, Marcia Gay Harden, and Nicole Kidman in various roles. The series will have eight episodes, and Kelley is both the writer and showrunner. Kinnear is known for his work in films and shows like "As Good As It Gets" and "Modern Family." He has also starred in the recent series "Shining Vale" and "Black Bird." He will appear next in another Apple series called "Smoke."
