Greta Gerwig's Narnia film set for 2026 release
Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos has shared updates about Greta Gerwig’s upcoming film adaptation of The Chronicles of Narnia. This movie, based on C.S. Lewis' beloved series, is set to debut in 2026. Sarandos described Gerwig's script as “fantastic” and praised her for her talent in world-building. He noted that they have a strong working relationship. While plot details are not yet known, casting rumors are already surfacing. Daniel Craig is said to have received an offer to join the cast, but he has not confirmed whether he will participate. Additionally, singer Charli XCX is in talks for the role of the White Witch. Greta Gerwig is also known for her successful films like Barbie, Lady Bird, and Little Women.
