Gujarat medical students face probe for dangerous celebrations

Medical students at GMERS Medical College and Hospital in Valsad, Gujarat, are under investigation after videos of their loud music celebration went viral. The dean, Dr. Kamlesh Shah, stated that students were permitted to celebrate on a football ground but violated conditions meant to protect patients and nearby residents. A committee will review the situation and determine appropriate actions. The celebrations were scheduled from March 15 to 18, with students initially submitting a proposal to college authorities. However, the loud music and stunts raised concerns about safety and compliance with hospital regulations.
