Gurdwara worker dies from hit-and-run injuries

A gurdwara worker, Adesh Kaur, died from injuries sustained in a hit-and-run incident in Gurgaon. She was struck by an SUV while walking with her husband on Sunday and underwent brain surgery but succumbed to her injuries on Thursday. The police have added charges against the accused, Chirag Thakran, for causing death due to negligence. He was arrested after fleeing the scene and abandoning the vehicle. Adesh Kaur is survived by her husband and three children. Her husband has called for strict legal action against the driver.
