Guwahati fans excited for upcoming IPL matches
Cricket fans in Guwahati are excited as the city prepares to host two IPL matches at Barsapara Stadium. The Rajasthan Royals have set up a box office for ticket sales at Aastha Academy. Fans have started lining up early to grab their passes. Students are particularly eager to buy student passes priced at Rs 500. The first match will feature Rajasthan Royals against Kolkata Knight Riders on March 26. The second match will be Rajasthan Royals versus Chennai Super Kings on March 30. While some students got their tickets, many were disappointed when the student passes sold out quickly. Those without tickets were told to return the next day, but there was no guarantee of availability. One student, Ranjan Das, expressed his excitement to see player Riyan Parag and the legendary Mahendra Singh Dhoni play live. However, another student, Abhishek Nath, was frustrated after waiting hours to buy a pass, only to be told they were sold out. There is also concern about ticket prices. General passes for the first match cost Rs 1,600, while tickets for the CSK match start at Rs 2,400. Despite the ticket challenges, many fans are determined to attend. Some have already bought general tickets for as much as Rs 2,800 to see their favorite teams. The recent success of the Indian cricket team has added to the excitement, making fans eager to watch their heroes live on the field.
