Gym trainer arrested with weapons and opium in Mohali

Police have arrested a gym trainer connected to a gangster after a confrontation in Mohali. The gangster, Lovish Grover, known as Lovi, was apprehended on Friday. He was shot in the leg during a police encounter in Zirakpur. On Saturday, police captured Lovi's accomplice, Gurpreet Singh. He is a gym trainer from Sangrur but currently lives in Zirakpur. When arrested, he had a pistol, 12 live cartridges, and opium in his possession. Authorities had already recovered three advanced weapons from Lovi's flat. These included a Glock pistol, a rifle, and a .39-bore pistol. They also found 400 grams of opium and ₹ 2.5 lakh in cash during the raid.
