Haley Lu Richardson joins Emilia Clarke in Peacock's espionage thriller 'Ponies'

Haley Lu Richardson will star alongside Emilia Clarke in the new Peacock series "Ponies." The show, announced in August, is an espionage thriller set in Moscow in 1977, focusing on two secretaries who become CIA operatives after their husbands are killed. Clarke plays Bea, a Russian-speaking daughter of Soviet immigrants, while Richardson portrays Twila, a fearless small-town girl. Together, they investigate a Cold War conspiracy linked to their husbands' deaths. The series is created by Susanna Fogel and David Iserson, with Fogel directing. Clarke will also serve as an executive producer, alongside other producers from Universal Television.
