Halo Infinite to launch third-person mode in November

me.ign.com October 5, 2024, 06:01 AM UTC

Summary: Halo: Infinite will introduce a third-person mode in November, marking the first official instance of this feature in the franchise. The announcement was made by 343 Industries during a panel at the 2024 Halo World Championship.

The new mode will initially be available in Firefight, with plans for player-versus-player options and Forge controls. Players will have the ability to switch between first- and third-person perspectives.

While mods have previously added third-person gameplay, this update is a significant development for the game, which has seen limited new content this year. More announcements may follow during the championship event.
