Halo Studios unveils rebranding and new game projects at Halo World Championship 2024
Halo Studios, formerly 343 Industries, has announced a rebranding and multiple new games in development during the Halo World Championship Series 2024. The studio is transitioning to Unreal Engine 5, moving away from its previous technology. The new initiative, called Project Foundry, aims to create various Halo games with updated designs for characters and environments. The studio emphasizes that the content being developed will meet future game standards. Additionally, Halo 2's E3 2003 demo will return for its 20th anniversary, and Halo Infinite will introduce a long-requested third-person mode. Other updates from the event include a release date for a new mode created in Forge.
