Hamilton police probe homicide and officer-involved shooting

Hamilton police are investigating a homicide after finding a man who had been stabbed. He later died from his injuries. The Special Investigations Unit (SIU) is also looking into a police-involved shooting that occurred when officers responded to the scene. A man armed with a weapon was shot and taken to the hospital. The SIU has assigned six investigators to the case and is seeking information from the public, including any video or photos related to the incident.
