Hampi hosts International Ramayana Conclave today
Hampi will host an International Ramayana Conclave on March 18. The event will include discussions and cultural performances related to the epic Ramayana. It is part of a series of events aimed at connecting important locations in Lord Ram's life. Dr. VV Parmashivamurthy, vice chancellor of Kannada University, will be the chief guest for this event. The conclave is organized by the International Ramayana and Vedic Research Institute in collaboration with various local organizations. The program will feature religious scholars discussing various topics related to the Ramayana. Notable participants include Ramautar Sharma from Delhi and Basavaraj Patil from Karnataka. In the evening, renowned bhajan singer Anup Jalota will perform. Following the Hampi conclave, future events in this series are set for Rameswaram on March 21-22, Sri Lanka on March 26, and Jammu on March 29. These gatherings aim to celebrate and preserve India's cultural heritage.
