Hannah Morrissey releases sequel set in Black Harbor

Author Hannah Morrissey has released a new book. It is a sequel to her first novel, Hello, Transcriber. The story follows Hazel as she returns to Black Harbor after her ex-husband, Tommy Greenlee, is found dead. Hazel works with Detective Nikolai Kole, who used to be her lover. Together, they try to solve Tommy's murder while dealing with their complicated history. The city of Black Harbor is known for its crime, and the story unfolds with many surprising twists. Morrissey’s story is inspired by real-life events. It explores dark secrets and dangerous issues in the city. As Hazel and Kole dig deeper, they confront personal struggles and the risks of their relationship. Hannah Morrissey will hold book signings soon. She will be at Boswell Books in Milwaukee on April 27, alongside author Ashley Winstead. She will also participate in Independent Bookstore Day at Blue House Books in Kenosha on April 29.
