Harold Mark Nearman passed away in Melbourne, FL

Harold Mark Nearman, aged 83, passed away peacefully at his home in Melbourne, Florida, on March 17. He previously lived in West Hartford, Connecticut. Harold was previously married to Lynn, who passed away before him. He is remembered by his daughters, Nancy Sweetman and her husband Steve, of Melbourne, and Barbara Hackenyos and her husband Dan, of Granby, Connecticut. Harold is also survived by his younger sister, Myrna Rabin, and her husband Jay. Harold was a proud grandfather and great-grandfather. He leaves behind his grandchildren, Charlie Sweetman, his wife Nikki, and their daughter Ann, as well as Sam Sweetman, his wife Katie, and their daughter Gwen. He is also survived by his nephew Jon Rabin and niece Stephanie Rabin. A funeral service for Harold will take place on Sunday, March 30, at 11:00 AM, at the Hartford Mutual Cemetery in East Granby. After the service, a meal of condolence will be offered at the Hackenyos home in Granby. The family asks that, instead of flowers, donations be made to a charity of choice.
