Harvey Weinstein has been diagnosed with chronic myeloid leukemia, a type of bone marrow cancer. His spokesperson expressed concern over public speculation about his health and stated that no further comments will be made to respect his privacy. Weinstein recently appeared in court in September, following heart surgery. He pleaded not guilty to a new charge and has faced multiple health issues, including hospitalization for diabetes and Covid. In April, a court overturned Weinstein's 2020 rape conviction, citing errors in his trial. A retrial was initially set for November but is now expected in early 2025.
