Weinstein, 72, has faced multiple health issues, including a recent heart surgery. He is in prison awaiting a retrial after his previous conviction for rape was overturned due to trial irregularities. In addition to leukemia, Weinstein has diabetes, high blood pressure, and other health concerns. He continues to deny all allegations of non-consensual sexual encounters.
