Harvey Weinstein diagnosed with leukemia while serving prison sentence in New York
Harvey Weinstein, 72, has been diagnosed with chronic myeloid leukemia while serving a 39-year prison sentence for multiple sexual assault convictions. He is currently receiving treatment in a New York prison. This diagnosis follows recent health issues, including emergency heart surgery last month. Weinstein appeared frail during a court appearance in September. Weinstein's legal troubles began the #MeToo movement in 2017, with over 80 women accusing him of various forms of sexual misconduct.
