Hawthorn is a new Victorian-inspired animal RPG

A new sandbox RPG called Hawthorn has been revealed at the Future Games Show Spring Showcase. The game combines elements from popular titles like Skyrim and Stardew Valley. Players will step into a world inspired by Victorian-era fairytales, playing as cute anthropomorphic animals such as otters, mice, or owls. The game can be played solo or with friends in co-op mode. Its charming graphics and unique interactions with the oversized world promise an engaging experience. The team behind Hawthorn has experience from top gaming companies like Bethesda, BioWare, and Naughty Dog, having worked on well-known RPGs such as Mass Effect and Fallout. Although the feedback has been positive so far, the game is still in early development. Hawthorn is currently self-funded, but the developers plan to launch a Kickstarter campaign soon to secure more support. This initiative will help bring their vision to life.
