Heather Thomas left Hollywood due to stalker threats

Heather Thomas, a famous actress from the 1980s, shared her experiences with stalkers that pushed her to leave Hollywood. In a recent podcast, she described feeling overwhelmed by the number of stalkers she encountered during her career. Thomas spoke about facing at least two stalkers every week, which made her life very difficult. She recalled incidents where a man jumped her gate with a knife and others sent her threatening items, like funeral wreaths. She emphasized that during her acting years, there weren't strong laws against stalking. Feeling unsafe in her home, Thomas often hired bodyguards. She recounted one frightening event where an intruder entered her bedroom. In self-defense, she shot at him using rock salt and birdshot but is unclear if he was ever arrested. From 1981 to 1986, she starred in “The Fall Guy” and took on various roles after that. However, Thomas stepped back from acting in the 1990s. Recently, she has returned to screen appearances, including films released in 2024.
