Hibernian reaches SWPL Cup final against Rangers
Hibernian Football Club is excited to be competing in the SWPL Cup final against Rangers this Saturday. Hibernian's manager, Grant Scott, is happy to see his team back in a strong position as they aim for their first trophy since 2019. Hibs currently lead the Scottish Women's Premier League (SWPL), a surprising turnaround from last season when they finished fifth. They recently secured their spot at the top after a last-minute victory against Glasgow City. Scott believes winning the cup would show the team's progress and help restore Hibs' reputation in women’s football. Rangers, however, are determined to maintain their hopes of winning a treble this season. They have yet to beat Hibs in their two matches this year. Despite Hibs' strong performance, Rangers have been dominant in the league since December, scoring 43 goals in six matches. Rangers' manager, Jo Potter, acknowledges Hibs' strong consistency and hopes her team can stop them in the final. Both teams are eager to win and the match promises to be a thrilling encounter.
