HIDIVE's anime "Sword of the Demon Hunter" premieres March 31

HIDIVE, the anime streaming service, has released a new trailer for its upcoming series, "Sword of the Demon Hunter Kijin Gentosho." This highly anticipated show is set to premiere on March 31st. It was delayed from its original launch in June due to production issues. The trailer features exciting fight scenes inspired by classic Japanese samurai films. Notable influences from renowned directors like Akira Kurosawa can be seen. The plot revolves around Jinta and his sister, who escape from demons in the Edo period. Years later, Jinta becomes a skilled swordsman and must protect the village shrine from a powerful demon. As Jinta battles the demon, he discovers shocking truths about the future. This sets him on an epic journey that crosses different time periods. HIDIVE hopes this series will strengthen its growing library, which includes popular titles like "Food Wars" and "My Love Story." "Sword of the Demon Hunter" will have exclusive simulcast rights on HIDIVE. The series features voice actors Taku Yashiro and Saori Hayami. It is directed by Kazuya Aiura, with animation by Yokohama Animation Lab. The show's opening song, "Continue," is performed by the Japanese band NEE.
