High Court extends compliance deadline in Kethaganahalli case

Bengaluru: The high court has given an extra 10 days for a report on a land encroachment issue in Kethaganahalli, Bidadi. This decision came on Wednesday from a division bench of Justices K Somashekar and Venkatesh Naik. They will consider the matter further on April 3. The court pointed out that a special investigation team (SIT) is looking into the land encroachment case. Recently, authorities recovered 14 acres of land in Kethaganahalli. Some of this land is reportedly occupied by Union minister HD Kumaraswamy. The court has instructed the principal secretary and extra advocate-general to continue their efforts according to the law. They need to submit a report within the next 10 days.
