Hina Khan wins award, requests prayers for health

The OTTPlay Awards 2025 took place in Mumbai on March 22. This event celebrated the best talent in the OTT industry. Hina Khan received the Promising Actor (Female) award for her role in the series "Griha Laxmi," available on EPIC ON. During the ceremony, Hina's heartfelt speech touched many in the audience. Host Kubra Sait welcomed her with a warm hug and praised her for being an inspiration to others. Co-host Aparshakti Khurana also celebrated Hina's journey and strength. Hina expressed her gratitude after receiving the award. She shared that she had been working out during her chemotherapy treatments, which helped her handle the pressure of the event. She related her own experiences to her character Laxmi, saying both have shown bravery in facing challenges. Before leaving the stage, Hina made a special request to the audience. She asked everyone to take ten seconds to pray for her. Hina revealed her stage 3 breast cancer diagnosis in June 2024 and has been open about her treatment and the changes in her life. Many are sending her love and strength as she continues her journey.
