Hisense launches new budget-friendly Dolby Atmos home theater
Hisense has launched a new home theater system called the AX5140Q. This system is a budget-friendly 5.1.4-channel soundbar setup. It features wireless rear speakers and uses the speakers in compatible Hisense TVs to enhance sound quality. The company is well-known for its TVs, which have frequently appeared on best-of lists. To complement its TVs, Hisense is focusing on creating sound systems that improve the audio experience. The AX5140Q includes a soundbar, a subwoofer for deep bass, and two wireless satellite speakers, allowing for flexible placement without messy wires. This system utilizes Hi-Concerto technology, which syncs the soundbar with the TV speakers. This feature aims to create a more immersive sound experience by broadening the audio landscape and improving dialogue clarity. However, a list of compatible TVs has not been shared yet. The AX5140Q comes with a total of 13 speakers, including four that deliver Dolby Atmos surround sound. Hisense also added a room correction feature that adjusts the sound output based on the room's acoustics. This makes setup easier in any space. The system has a range of additional features, including an HDMI in port, 4K 60Hz passthrough, Bluetooth 5.3, and EzPlay compatibility for smooth connection with other devices. The price for the AX5140Q is set at $399.
