The venue closed its Wilder location in March and is now operating temporarily in Florence, Kentucky. Bobby Mackey opened the club in 1978, featuring a mechanical bull and a storied history as a former slaughterhouse and speakeasy. The site was popular with ghost hunters, who reported paranormal activity. Mackey described the demolition as bittersweet but necessary.
