HMS Prince of Wales prepares for deployment to Australia

HMS Prince of Wales returned to Portsmouth Naval Base after hosting King Charles at sea. The ship completed preparations for its upcoming deployment to Australia. During the visit, the King thanked sailors and observed F-35B fighter jet exercises on the carrier's deck. The flagship will lead a carrier strike group to the Indo-Pacific this spring, marking the first visit of a Queen Elizabeth class carrier to Australia. It will also participate in Exercise Talisman Sabre with 19 nations.
