Hoboken restaurant Byrd closes unexpectedly after less than a year
A restaurant in Hoboken, New Jersey, named Byrd has closed unexpectedly, just months after opening. The restaurant was started by Chef Ehren Ryan and his wife Nadine in June 2024. Byrd offered a diverse menu that included sashimi, Arctic char, burgers, vegetarian mushroom bolognese, and burrata. This closure has been confirmed on Google, but it is unclear when it officially shut down. Byrd's website and social media accounts are also no longer accessible. Chef Ryan did not provide any comments about the closure when contacted by the media. This closure was first reported by The Hoboken Girl. The location of Byrd has seen many businesses come and go in recent years. Previous tenants include Tilted Kilt, Taphaus, Privé, and Sangria, all of which have also closed down.
