Holland Taylor has been cast as Matthew McConaughey's mother in the upcoming comedy series starring McConaughey and Woody Harrelson on Apple TV+. The show, which has 10 episodes, explores the challenges of their families living together on McConaughey's Texas ranch. The series was first announced in 2023, with McConaughey and Harrelson set to play lead roles. Taylor joins the cast as Ma Mac, adding her extensive acting experience to the project. David West Read is the writer and showrunner, with McConaughey and Harrelson also serving as executive producers. The series is produced by Skydance Television.
