David Brian Pearce, a Hollywood producer, has been convicted of first-degree murder for the deaths of two women, Christy Giles and Hilda Marcela Cabrales-Arzola. The women died from fentanyl poisoning after a night of partying with Pearce in November 2021. In addition to the murder charges, Pearce was found guilty of multiple sexual assaults against seven women from 2007 to 2021. He faces a sentence of 148 years to life in prison, with sentencing scheduled for March 13. Pearce's co-defendant, Brandt Osborne, is charged as an accessory and will be retried next month after a previous trial ended in a mistrial.
