Honda ranks highest for clean used car records
Buying a used car can be stressful. Many buyers worry about hidden problems like past accidents or outstanding finance. However, vehicle history checks can help buyers make safer choices. A report from CarVertical analyzed almost 100,000 used car history checks from last year. They found that Hondas have the cleanest records, with 72% of vehicles showing no issues. Toyota and Volvo follows closely, both at 70%. Other brands with good histories include Mini, Porsche, and Peugeot. On the other hand, luxury German brands are concerning. Audi, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and Volkswagen have high rates of problematic histories, with over 60% of their used cars showing issues. Kia also ranks poorly, with only 58% of its vehicles being clear of problems. Experts recommend that buyers always check the vehicle history report and have the car professionally inspected. This can help avoid unexpected repairs and disappointments after purchase.
