Honduran murder suspect arrested in Michigan for 2020 homicide

A man from Honduras was arrested in Monroe County, Michigan. He is wanted for a murder that happened in 2020 in Marion County, Indiana. The arrest took place early Thursday morning during a traffic stop. Deputies pulled over the vehicle just before 2 a.m. near Summerfield Road and Dorr Street. Initially, the driver could not show proper identification, which raised suspicions. After investigating further, the deputies confirmed his identity. He was wanted on a felony warrant for homicide. U.S. Border Patrol agents arrived at the scene and confirmed that he was the wanted man. The suspect was taken into custody without any trouble and was handed over to Border Patrol agents for further action.
