Hong Kong enhances investment scheme to attract global investors
Hong Kong's New Capital Investment Entrant Scheme (New CIES) has been enhanced this month to attract global investors. The initiative aims to bring new talent and investment to the city, offering fast-track residency for wealthy individuals and their families. The scheme allows investments in various assets, including equities and properties in Hong Kong. Over 910 applications have been submitted, potentially contributing HK$27 billion (US$3.5 billion) to the local economy. Hong Kong continues to strengthen its position as a global financial hub, supported by a robust business ecosystem and a focus on innovation and technology.
