Hong Kong triathletes vie for National Games qualifications

Hong Kong's triathletes are preparing for a big challenge. They will compete in the Asian Sprint Championships next month. Head coach Andrew Wright said that finishing in the top five will secure a spot on the National Games squad. Wright emphasized that only three men and three women can make the team for Hong Kong. This is a unique situation, as Hong Kong does not need to meet the same qualifiers as other Chinese regions. He believes his athletes have the potential to achieve this goal. However, Coach Wright also noted that this year's competition will be tougher than ever before. He explained that since it's the first time Hong Kong is hosting these championships, many outstanding athletes are eager to compete. Wright remains hopeful that some of his athletes will qualify from this event.
