Hope College men's track opened outdoor season successfully

The Hope College men's track and field team opened its outdoor season at the Myrtle Beach Collegiate Challenge, finishing 11th out of 30 teams with 26 points. The team scored in 11 events over the two-day meet. Lucas Guidone secured second place in the 800-meter run, clocking 1:54.74. Jonathan Harlow also achieved a personal record in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, finishing fourth with a time of 9:35.97. Hope's relay teams placed fifth in both the 4x100 and 4x400 events. The Flying Dutchmen will compete next at Emory University on March 21-22.
