Houston crash kills driver, car pinned under truck

Houston police are looking into a serious accident that happened early Friday morning on Highway 6. A car was hit by an 18-wheeler, and sadly, the driver of the car died at the scene. The crash took place around 4:30 a.m. near Briarhills. The car, a Honda Accord, collided with the truck as it was making a left turn from a parking lot. Images from SkyEye show the car trapped under the larger vehicle. Emergency responders arrived but could only confirm the death of the Honda driver. The identity of the victim has not been shared at this time. The driver of the 18-wheeler stayed at the scene and is cooperating with investigators. Authorities said that the truck driver was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol and was released after questioning.
