Houthi rebels claim to have downed US MQ-9 drone

Yemen's Houthi rebels claimed to have shot down a U.S. MQ-9 drone over Marib province, a region critical for oil and gas. The U.S. military stated it had no reports of any drones being downed. The Houthis have increased drone attacks since the Israel-Hamas war began, targeting over 80 vessels. The MQ-9 drones cost approximately $30 million each and can fly at altitudes of 50,000 feet.
