HP introduces enhanced partner compensation and AI support

computerweekly.com

HP recently announced a new compensation package during its Amplify event. The company revealed increased benefits and more support for artificial intelligence (AI) initiatives. This comes as HP showcases new AI-powered PCs, printers, and gaming laptops. The new compensation structure, called SuperPower Booster, aims to reward partners across HP's entire product range. This follows their 2023 program, More for More, but with broader coverage. Starting in May, commercial partners will begin to see these rewards, with distribution and retail partners receiving them later. HP assures that partners who specialize in specific areas, rather than the whole product line, will still benefit from their offerings. In addition to the compensation updates, HP is enhancing its Amplify AI program to support growing interest in AI technology. Neil MacDonald, HP's UK and Ireland channel director, emphasized the importance of empowering partners in today's fast-evolving tech landscape. The company is providing tailored AI training and resources to help partners become more confident in using AI. HP is also improving its Partner Portal with AI tools to enhance user experience and support. A new Partner AI Assistant will simplify onboarding and provide real-time help. At the Amplify event, HP discussed its sustainability goals as well, reporting they have exceeded their targets for partner participation in their HP Amplify Impact program. This program, launched in 2021, aims to help partners enhance their sustainability practices. HP found that partners involved in the program have experienced significantly higher success rates in securing proposals and sales. These findings highlight the benefits of sustainability in attracting business.
