Huawei shifts to self-developed chips for PCs

Huawei Technologies is moving away from American hardware and software for its personal computers due to ongoing US sanctions. The company plans to use its own technology instead. The Kirin X90 chip, developed by Huawei's HiSilicon, recently received a Level 2 national security certification in China. This certification helps assess the security of domestically designed computers and CPUs. Previously, Huawei's Kirin 9000C and Kirin 9006C chips also received similar certifications. These chips are used in Huawei's Qingyun computer series, aimed at government and enterprise users.
