Human remains discovered near Christina River in Wilmington
Investigators in Delaware are seeking help from the public to identify a woman whose remains were found near a river. The grim discovery was made on March 4 in Wilmington. Police received a call around 6 p.m. about what someone believed to be a human bone on the banks of the Christina River. Officers arrived at the scene and, after searching the area, they found decomposed remains. The remains have been sent for an autopsy. It was determined that the victim is a white female, likely aged between 25 and 35. Investigators believe the body may have been at the site for up to four months. While no clear signs of foul play were found, the cause of death is still unknown. Police have released images of two tattoos found on the body and are asking anyone with information to come forward.
