Hundreds march in Denver for immigrant rights support
On March 17, hundreds marched in downtown Denver for Latino Advocacy Day, supporting immigrant rights. Participants chanted “Sí, se puede” and rallied outside the Colorado State Capitol, emphasizing solidarity with undocumented immigrants. Dolores Huerta, co-founder of the United Farm Workers Association, spoke at the rally, urging attendees to support the immigrant community. Over 300 people gathered, many holding signs and waving flags. Former state Rep. Tim Hernández led the march in a Cadillac, with students and community members joining in. The event aimed to raise awareness and advocate for change regarding immigrant issues.
