Hurricane center tracks three Atlantic disturbances with one likely to develop
The National Hurricane Center is monitoring three disturbances in the Atlantic. One disturbance, located over the southwestern Caribbean Sea, has a 70 percent chance of developing into a tropical depression by early next week. This system is expected to drift northward or northwestward, bringing heavy rains to nearby land areas. The NHC is also tracking two other systems, one near Puerto Rico with low development chances and another non-tropical low pressure area near the Azores. The Puerto Rico system may produce heavy rains across the Greater Antilles, while the Azores system could see limited subtropical development as it moves eastward.
