Husband arrested for domestic violence in Bentleyville
A woman jumped out of a moving SUV during a domestic dispute in Bentleyville, Ohio. Police received a call on March 15 about a woman in distress who asked witnesses for help. The vehicle was driving recklessly and ran a red light, almost hitting another car. The woman’s husband, a 36-year-old from Northfield, was arrested for several charges. These included driving under suspension, unlawful restraint for not allowing her to exit the vehicle, and domestic violence for threatening her. Police found him after he fled the scene and took him to jail, where he later posted bond. In a separate incident, a 58-year-old man from Cleveland was pulled over on March 18 for driving with one headlight and without a rear license plate. He was also found to be driving on a suspended license and was cited. Additionally, a 20-year-old man from Cleveland Heights was stopped on March 15 for speeding at 57 mph in a 35 mph zone. He received a ticket that requires him to appear in court due to his high speed.
