Harish Hippargi, 49, confessed to killing Utpala during an argument on January 9, 2025. He strangled her, decapitated her, and disposed of her remains in different locations. Harish has been arrested and is in police custody. He will be presented in court following the investigation by the Mira-Bhayander-Vasai-Virar crime branch.
