Iberia completes first passenger flight with new Airbus A321XLR from Madrid to Paris
Iberia has completed the first passenger flight with the Airbus A321XLR, flying from Madrid to Paris Charles de Gaulle. The flight took off at 08:18 and landed at 09:55, marking a significant milestone for the airline. The A321XLR was delivered to Iberia on October 30, after delays pushed back its initial schedule. Iberia plans to operate eight of these aircraft, featuring a two-class layout with 182 seats. Iberia's long-haul operations with the A321XLR are set to begin on November 14, targeting routes to Boston and Washington, D.C. The aircraft is expected to enhance Iberia's transatlantic service.
