IIM Bangalore's 50th convocation ceremony is on March 28

IIM Bangalore will celebrate its 50th convocation on March 28, 2025. The event will feature Dr. S. Somanath, the former Chairman of ISRO, as the keynote speaker. Graduating students will receive their degrees from various programs. These include the Doctor of Philosophy, the Post Graduate Programme in Enterprise Management, and the Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management. Others will graduate from the Post Graduate Programme in Business Analytics and Public Policy. The ceremony will also recognize outstanding students. Awards will be given for Best All Round Performance and for the top-ranking students. One PhD scholar will receive an award for excellence in research. Dr. Devi Prasad Shetty and Professor Rishikesha T Krishnan will also address the attendees. Dr. Somanath is known for his work in India's space missions, including Chandrayaan-3 and the Gaganyaan program. Under his leadership, ISRO achieved major milestones in space technology.
