India achieves significant space milestone with successful satellite docking test
India has successfully completed a space docking test, becoming the fourth country to achieve this milestone. The Indian Space Research Organisation (Isro) conducted the test on Thursday, where two small satellites, Target and Chaser, latched onto each other in orbit. This docking technology is important for satellite servicing and future space missions. Isro confirmed that the satellites can now be controlled as a single unit. Further tests, including undocking and power transfer checks, are planned for the coming days.
